Some of my earliest memories are the sound of my mother's sewing machine in the quiet of the morning — her stolen hour of peace before the chaos of family life began. As a mother of three, she'd rise early and sew before anyone needed her. I didn't know it then, but those mornings shaped everything.

I dabbled in sewing as a child and made a few quilts about 15 years ago, but life had other plans. As a single mom of triplets, free time wasn't exactly abundant.

Fast forward to today — my children are grown, two are out of the house, and I'm a stay-at-home wife and mom in the beautiful state of West Virginia. For a few years I channeled my creative energy into making sugar cookies, hoping my daughter (who has autism) would find something in the process she loved. She was patient with me, but it just wasn't her thing.

Then came sewing — and everything changed.

It turns out my daughter is an essential part of what we make. She is our resident seam ripper, carefully taking apart vintage clothing so the fabric can live again. She stuffs every single pillow we sell. And she is my faithful thrifting companion, hunting alongside me for the vintage cottons and antique quilts that give our pieces their soul.

We don't just make home décor. We give forgotten fabrics a second life — turning vintage quilts, feedsacks, and antique textiles into handmade pieces that carry real history. Every item in our shop is one of a kind, because the materials always were.
