Handmade from Vintage Quilts & an Upcycled Dress
Every fabric in this pillow has a past life — and that's exactly what makes it special.
It is pieced together from a vintage red quiltb and a vintage blue quilt, blue and red plaid — giving it that perfectly worn, authentically American look. The "A" was cut from a ladies' dress that my daughter carefully took apart by hand, the way she does with so many of our pieces. She has a gift for it.
The body of the pillow features the same thrifted red vintage quilt used in our Blue & Red Reversible Door Bow — so if you love that piece, this pillow was practically made to go with it.
My daughter stuffed this pillow by hand, just like every piece in our shop.
