One-of-a-Kind Patriotic Pillow — Handmade from Vintage Quilt & Cherished Family Heirloom
There's no other pillow quite like this one — because there can't be.
The soft white hobnail fabric on this pillow isn't just vintage. It's the twin bedspread that was on my bed as a child. I found it folded in my mother's attic after she passed — kept all those years, the way mothers keep things.
I couldn't think of a more meaningful way to honor it than to give it new life, in a new home, where it can be loved again.
Paired with genuine vintage quilt fabric and finished with a cheerful appliquéd "USA," this pillow carries the kind of history that simply cannot be replicated. When it's gone, that's it — there is no more of this fabric.
My daughter stuffed this pillow by hand, just like she does every piece we make together.
